The Northern Tier Library is located on Dickey Road in Richland Township. Its collection includes a wide variety of books, DVDs, magazines, local newspapers, CD books, music CDs. Computers with popular word processing and spreadsheet applications, as well as, Internet access, are available to the public. The library also offers story hours and craft programs for children, a monthly book discussion group for adults, various special interest programs for all age groups, including young adults, and numerous holiday activities. Richland E.M.S. is a non profit organization that provides emergency medical care to the residents and visitors of Richland Township. In addition, Richland EMS offers nonemergency ambulance and wheelchair van transportation. Civic services such as blood pressure screenings, CPR, First Aid and AED (Automatic External Defribrilator) classes, public lectures, demonstrations and clinics are also available.
