1. How do holidays affect trash and recycling pickup?

Vogel Disposal is closed in observance of the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

• If your scheduled collection day falls on or after a weekday holiday, your collection will be 1 day later that week.
• If your scheduled collection day falls before a weekday holiday, there will be no change in your collection day.

2. When are the leaf collection dates in 2023, and what are the details?

Spring Leaf Collection (1 Date)

• Wednesday, April 5, 2023 (all residences)

Fall Leaf Collection (3 Dates)

• Wednesday or Friday, October 18 and 20, 2023
• Wednesday or  Friday, November 8 and 10, 2023
• Wednesday or  Friday, November 29 and December 1, 2023

For the Fall Leaf Collections

If your trash collection day is Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday through your leaf pickup days are the Wednesday dates.

If your trash collection day is Thursday or Friday through your leaf pickup days are the Friday dates.

Leaf Collection Details

• Leaf Collections include paper bagged leaves/shrubbery and bundled tree trimmings (3 inches in diameter or less and no longer than 48 inches).
• All bags must be out prior to 6 am on the day of pick up.
• All leaves must be in biodegradable paper bags for pick up. Plastic bags are not permitted.
• Please limit each bag to 40 pounds
• Residents may take the materials accumulated between specified spring and fall collection days to the Township drop-off site located beside the Public Works Garage (off Meridian Road) Monday through Friday, 8 am to 3:30 pm.

3. What are the dates for HHW and E-Waste pickup for 2023?

Please note: you must contact Vogel customer service at least 10 days prior to the scheduled collection dates in order to participate. See more information on how to arrange pickup on Vogel Disposal's website.

• March 6 (register by February 20)
• June 12 (register by May 26)
• September 18 (register by September 1)
• December 4 (register by November 20)

4. Will Vogel pick up my Christmas Tree?

Vogel will be picking up Christmas trees through December and January at no extra cost. All decorations must be removed, and must be under 6 feet tall, or cut into smaller pieces. Please do not place trees in plastic bags.
