LEGAL NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Richland Township is soliciting bids for the following:
BID – 2024 Lawn Mowing Contract
Sealed bids will be accepted for the 2024 Lawn Mowing Contract until 10:00 a.m. on February 27, 2024 and should be delivered to the Township Manager Dean Bastianini, Richland Township, 4019 Dickey Road, Gibsonia, PA 15044. On the exterior of the bid envelope should appear “MOWING BID ENCLOSED”
On February 27, 2024 at 10 AM bids shall be publicly opened and read at the Richland Township Municipal Building at the address listed above. The contract will be awarded at the Board of Supervisors’ meeting on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, or at a subsequent meeting as determined to be in the best interests of Richland Township.
Copies of bid documents, including plans and specifications, may be viewed and obtained at the Richland Township Municipal Building between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on regular workdays, and also on our website at https://richland.pa.us/bids.aspx?bidID=3
Each bid must be accompanied by Bid Security made payable to Richland Township in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total Bid price and in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety. The successful Bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each in an amount equal to the Contract Price.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held February 20, 2024 at 10 AM at the municipal building at the address above.
Adherence to Bidder Instructions is required. No Bid, or any part thereof, shall be withdrawn by Bidder for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the Bid Opening.
Any questions regarding the cutting schedule and specifications of the bid should be directed via email to Assistant Township Manager Natalie Thiess, nthiess@richland.pa.us no later than five (5) days prior to the bid submission date or 724-443-5921. Responses to such requests will be provided to ALL Bidders, via email, in addition to the Bidder making the request, unless Bidder has notified the Township that email communication is unacceptable.
Richland Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to accept the bid totally or in part, and to waive informalities in any Bid.
